چکیده
Our paper presents the hammer mill working process optimization problem destined for milling energetic biomass (MiscanthusGiganteus and Salix Viminalis). For study, functional constructive parameters of were taken into consideration in order to reduce specific energy consumption. The consumption dependency on rotor spinning frequency sieve orifices use, as well material feeding flow, correlation with vegetal degree was focus analysis. obtaining this successively equipped 4 different types hammers that grind biomass, which had a certain humidity content an initial reduction ratio material. In start process, 12 defined. objective functions minimize maximize milled percentage granulation established. results obtained can serve basis choosing optimal working, constructive, mills field, better design future mills.

Plantwide Optimization of a Pulp Mill Process
An economic optimization study of a pulp and paper mill is presented. Costs and revenues associated with all unit operations are identified to formulate a suitable objective function. The existing control structure of the pulp mill is analyzed and used to develop an optimization-relevant model through a series of step tests. This model is then used with the objective function and the informatio...
متن کاملStatistical Modelling of a Preliminary Process for Depolymerisation of Cassava Non-starch Carbohydrate Using Organic Acids and Salt
A preliminary study on statistical modelling of a process for depolymerisation of cassava non-starch carbohydrate using halide salt assisted phosphoric and pyruvic acids were accomplished. The effects of three independent variables namely; acid concentration, potassium iodide salt and duration were studied using the central composite rotatable design on hydrolysis of the cassava non-starch carb...
متن کاملMultivariate statistical process control using mixture modelling
When performing process monitoring, the classical approach of multivariate statistical process control (MSPC) explicitly assumes the normal operating conditions (NOC) to be distributed normally. If this assumption is not met, usually severe out-of-control situations are missed or incontrol situations can falsely be seen as out-of-control. Combining mixture modelling with MSPC (MM-MSPC) leads to...
متن کاملModelling of Activated Sludge Treatment Process in a Pulp Mill Using Neural Networks
The control of activated sludge treatment plants depends on on-line and laboratory measurements. Even though the behavior of activated sludge is basically known, long lags and the complex characteristic of biological activity set a challenge for controlling the process. In this paper MultiLayer Perceptron (MLP) neural network is applied for modelling Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) concentration, ...
