Optimisation of Ultra-High-Performance Concrete with Special Quarry Dust

The cement composition of concrete directly affects the CO2emissions to environment. UHPC (Ultra High-Performance Concrete) is a new type rapidly gaining popularity in building industry due its superior strength and endurance. In contrast regular concrete, requires more than twice as much cement, making it expensive leaving significant carbon imprint. this study, waste was substituted with 4%, 8%, 12% special quarry dust from manufacturer Kuantan, Malaysia. Maximum compressive percentage are determined through experimentation assessed Design Expert Software. This investigation tested modified for strength, durability, scanning electron microscope (SEM)appearance. Experiments show that substituting 21% yields best outcomes. Since particle size finer other matrices, helps reduce voids boosts UHPC's endurances. adds filler minor increase viscosity UHPC, which better replacement anhydrate applications.
