Optimal management of infected femoral pseudo aneurysm in drug addicts presenting to Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Rawalpindi.

Objective: To compare the outcomes of excision pseudo aneurysm along with ligation and local debridement revascularization in management infected femoral among drug addicts. Study Design: Retrospective Analytic study. Setting: Surgical Unit-1, Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Rawalpindi. Period: July 2010 to 2019. Material & Method: Among patients presented Emergency out department. Data was collected through medical record hospital. P-value less than 0.05 set statistically significant. Results: Mean age duration addiction for study population were 36.50 years SD ±6 2.80 ±0.90 respectively. All enrolled participants males (100%). Heroine (76%) most common used by addicts while other drugs included benzodiazepine (12%), amphetamine (8%), cocaine (4%). Left sided artery (70%) more involved as right (30%).
