Optimal-flow minimum-cost correspondence assignment in particle flow tracking
A diversity of tracking problems exists in which cohorts of densely packed particles move in an organized fashion, however the stability of individual particles within the cohort is low. Moreover, the flows of cohorts can regionally overlap. Together, these conditions yield a complex tracking scenario that can not be addressed by optical flow techniques that assume piecewise coherent flows, or ...
متن کاملThe Minimum Universal Cost Flow in an Infeasible Flow Network
In this paper the concept of the Minimum Universal Cost Flow (MUCF) for an infeasible flow network is introduced. A new mathematical model in which the objective function includes the total costs of changing arc capacities and sending flow is built and analyzed. A polynomial time algorithm is presented to find the MUCF.

متن کاملParallel algorithms for the assignment and minimum-cost flow problems
Let G = (V, E) be a network for an assignment problem with 2n nodes and m edges, in which the largest edge cost is C. Recently the class of instances of bipartite matching problems has been shown to be in RNC provided that C is O(logk n) for some fixed k. We show how to use scaling so as to develop an improved parallel algorithm and show that bipartite matching problems are in the class RNC pro...
متن کاملA Novel Experimental Analysis of the Minimum Cost Flow Problem
In the GA approach the parameters that influence its performance include population size, crossover rate and mutation rate. Genetic algorithms are suitable for traversing large search spaces since they can do this relatively fast and because the mutation operator diverts the method away from local optima, which will tend to become more common as the search space increases in size. GA’s are base...
