Optimal Dose of Gell Peptide for Diabetic Wound Healing
نویسندگان
چکیده
Various studies show that diabetes cases are increasing. Epidemiological data also reported 10.7 million in Indonesia 2019. Diabetic foot syndrome is a common complication individuals with DM. Its treatment costly and prolonged. Thus, we conducted an vivo study to assess the optimal peptide dose its effectiveness accelerating diabetic wound healing. This experimental laboratory randomized pre-post test control group design was Wistar rats wounds receiving different doses of gel peptides. One Way Anova applied compare three gell (0.05 gr, 0.1 0.15 gr). The significance level determined P<0.05. Significant improvement all groups started on day 7 (p=0.000). best outcome obtained B, which had complete closure gr effective for healing closure.

We present a novel therapeutic peptide delivery system to improve the healing of diabetic chronic wounds. We have developed fusion proteins of elastin-like polypeptides (ELPs) and the soluble receptor for advanced glycation end product (sRAGE) that self-assemble at physiological temperatures. These nanoparticles can be easily purified from a bacterial culture system by inverse temperature cycle...

متن کاملIs the foot elevation the optimal position for wound healing of a diabetic foot?
In managing diabetic foot ulcers, foot elevation has generally been recommended to reduce oedema and prevent other sequential problems. However, foot elevation may decrease tissue oxygenation of the foot more than the dependent position since the dependent position is known to increase blood flow within the arterial system. In addition, diabetic foot ulcers, which have peripheral vascular insuf...
متن کاملUsing lasers in diabetic wound healing.
Lasers are a treatment choice that appeals to patients. Early research suggests that laser therapy may have a role in hastening wound healing. Attempts have been made to use helium neon, CO2, and KTP lasers in encouraging wound healing in diabetics. We will review the English literature related to laser use in diabetic wound healing and discuss the concept of the use of nondestructive lasers fo...
