Optical bistability and absorption characteristic of an optomechanical system embedded with double quantum dot and nonlinear medium

This paper theoretically studies a hybrid optomechanical system embedded with two coupled quantum dots and third-order Kerr nonlinear medium inside the cavity. The optical bistability absorption spectrum are analyzed for proposed system. From Hamiltonian which describes system, set of Langevin equations derived. Using these motion, steady-state mean field analysis is done gives phenomena bistability. performance switch also in terms gain switching ratio. Further, derived from fluctuation dynamics. has potential to design tunable all-optical switches. spectra display peculiar characteristics negative (transparency dip). transparency dips found be strongly dependent on frequency mechanical resonator. results our investigation reveal that can used as an numerous other applications communication systems.
