Opinions of School Administrators about the Transition System to Secondary Education

The purpose of this qualitative research was to examine the transition system secondary education from views school administrators and offer solutions problems identified for improvement system. study group consisted 10 working in public schools Ordu province 2020-2021 academic year. A semi-structured interview form consisting 5 questions prepared by researchers has been applied involved research. Interviews with were carried out over internet telephone since face-to-face meetings may create negative situations about course epidemic due Covid-19 epidemic. Taking into account relevant literature, content analysis conducted on data obtained as a result interviews. It concluded that generally have perspective towards education. They also criticized adminstration phase exam. Having indicated Make-up Exam application, which administered past then abolished, should be put back practice, stated Address-Based Registration System caused some downsides during implementation phase. In addition, they each change made existing hurt students their parents undermined trust suggestions correct system’s deficiencies, necessary planning long term restructured.
