Nonlinear Klein-Gordon Equation
An extended ( ′ G )–expansion method is obtained by improving the form of solution in ( G′ G )– expansion method which is proposed in recent years. By using the extended ( ′ G )–expansion method and with the aid of homogeneous balance principle, many explicit and exact travelling wave solutions with two arbitrary parameters to the Klein-Gordon equation are presented, including the hyperbolic so...
متن کاملNumerical solution of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation
This paper’s purpose is to provide a numerical scheme to approximate solutions of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation by applying the multiquadric quasi-interpolation scheme and the integrated radial basis function network scheme. Our scheme uses θ-weighted scheme for discretization of the temporal derivative and the integrated form of the multiquadric quasi-interpolation scheme for approximati...
متن کاملB-SPLINE COLLOCATION APPROACH FOR SOLUTION OF KLEIN-GORDON EQUATION
We develope a numerical method based on B-spline collocation method to solve linear Klein-Gordon equation. The proposed scheme is unconditionally stable. The results of numerical experiments have been compared with the exact solution to show the efficiency of the method computationally. Easy and economical implementation is the strength of this approach.
متن کاملSolitons for the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation
In this paper we study existence and orbital stability for solitary waves of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation. The energy of these solutions travels as a localized packet, hence they are a particular type of solitons. In particular we are interested in sufficient conditions on the potential for the existence of solitons. Our proof is based on the study of the ratio energy/charge of a functio...
