Purpose is to develop efficient scheduling excavate steep-grade iron-ore deposits using near-vertical layers relying upon production practices by an open pit of Poltava Mining-and-Processing Integrated Works (MPIW). Methods. The goal achievement involved system analysis openwork for means in MPIW; the process was structured from viewpoint decision-making under uncertainty. Findings. New methods have been developed. represented informal (descriptive) structure being mandatory further transition formalization certain stages technological during scheduling.
