This paper will explore the experiences of #Openteach project team in developing a flexible and evidence based approach to support professional learning for those who teach online. The had number phases, which included needs analysis online students educators about effective teaching, publication review literature entitled Teaching Online is Different, pilot evaluation report. open course ran March 2020 focused on five key aspects teaching online: social presence; facilitating discussion; collaboration online; live teaching; supporting students. final phase involves creation an textbook bringing together all outputs, due summer 2021. Drawing qualitative quantitative data collected from pre post initiative, this reports two detail: design, development delivery process creating textbook.
