In computational fluid dynamics (CFD), the mathematical description of a physical phenomenon that involves flow, combustion, and chemical reaction is combined with numerical solution problem via use computer process. Computational has emerged as critical tool for comprehending forecasting behavior reacting flows, which are fundamentally complicated systems involving intricate interplay kinetics mechanics. Among numerous open source CFD packages, widely used C++ finite volume simulation toolbox OpenFOAM (Open-Source Field Operation Manipulation) number advantages, including an object-oriented framework, ease multiphysics modules can be added, its free availability. However, shortcomings have been identified regarding application to chemically most notably incomplete splitting schemes, inadequate ordinary differential equation (ODE) solvers stiff chemistry, oversimplified mixture transients. This article focuses on combustion flow in intake manifold. A sample manifold consists two inlets one outlet. The method computing modeling developed combustion. focus attention will demonstration structure flame. energy deposition pressure near outlet higher. results compared found good agreement between DUNE (Distributed Unified Numerics Environment) numerics.
