OP05.07: MultiVane technique‐based super resolution post‐processing for three‐dimensional visualisation of large vessel anomalies in fetal MRI

چکیده

To investigate whether super-resolution-based three-dimensional reconstruction of the heart and large vessels using MultiVane technique is feasible in fetal MRI normal fetuses with vessel anomalies. Thirty were included consisting 15 cases postnatally confirmed anomalies vessels, cases. The pathology group following entities: tetralogy Fallot (n = 4), aortic coarctation (3), right descending aorta (2), common arterial trunk persistent left superior vena cava (1), unilateral pulmonary agenesis hypoplastic heterotaxy syndrome (1). Fetal scans performed at a mean gestational age 28+1 gestation weeks (GW) (pathology group) 29+5 GW (normal obtained one 1.5T scanner (Philips Medical Systems Ingenia). T2-weighted sequences three orthogonal planes acquired used to calculate super-resolution datasets. Manual segmentation was obtain models free ITK-Snap software. Two expert radiologists reviewed images planes, axial images, for vessels. Super-resolution post-processing based on all Review identified 13 If available, pathologic correctly classified. Vessel found none group. MRI-based visualisation structures Multivane helpful identification during intra-uterine development.

On Super-Resolution for Fetal Brain MRI

Super-resolution techniques provide a route to studying fine scale anatomical detail using multiple lower resolution acquisitions. In particular, techniques that do not depend on regular sampling can be used in medical imaging situations where imaging time and resolution are limited by subject motion. We investigate in this work the use of a super-resolution technique for anisotropic fetal brai...

Super-resolution Reconstruction of Fetal Brain MRI

Current fetal MRI practice involves fast 2D slice acquisitions. The reconstruction of volumetric fetal brain MRI from these acquisitions and its post-processing is greatly desired for studying in-utero brain development. The previously developed reconstruction techniques rely on iterations of slice-tovolume registration and scattered data interpolation. In contrast, the technique introduced her...

Dictionary Based Super-Resolution for Diffusion MRI

Diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (dMRI) provides unique capabilities for non-invasive mapping of fiber tracts in the brain. It however suffers from relatively low spatial resolution, often leading to partial volume effects. In this paper, we propose to use a super-resolution approach based on dictionary learning for alleviating this problem. Unlike the majority of existing super-resolution ...
