Online voting for grassroots initiatives in California: electronic signature collection

This article discusses the process of online collection signatures for legislative proposals, taking as a starting point current popular initiative in California. It describes how signature petitions would work, well security issues and other objections to via internet could be addressed and, finally, pros cons applying this method collecting initiatives.
