چکیده
This paper proposes a Lyapunov optimization-based online distributed (LOOD) algorithmic framework for active distribution networks (ADNs) with numerous photovoltaic inverters and inverter air conditionings (IACs). In the proposed scheme, ADNs can track an power setpoint reference at substation in response to transmission-level requests while concurrently minimizing social utility loss ensuring security of voltages. Conventional optimization methods are rarely feasible optimal solutions fast variable environments using fine-grained sampling interval where underlying problem evolves iterations algorithms. contrast, based on convex (OCO), developed approach uses algebraic update compute next round decisions relying current feedback measurements. Notably, time-coupling constraints IACs decoupled implementation technique. An incentive scheme is tailored coordinate customer-owned assets lieu direct control from network operators. Optimality convergency characterized analytically. Finally, we corroborate method modified version 33-node test feeder. Benchmark tests show that computationally economically efficient, outperforming existing

An Online Q-learning Based Multi-Agent LFC for a Multi-Area Multi-Source Power System Including Distributed Energy Resources
This paper presents an online two-stage Q-learning based multi-agent (MA) controller for load frequency control (LFC) in an interconnected multi-area multi-source power system integrated with distributed energy resources (DERs). The proposed control strategy consists of two stages. The first stage is employed a PID controller which its parameters are designed using sine cosine optimization (SCO...

Abstract In this paper we explore the relationship between dual decomposition and the consensus-based method for distributed optimization. The relationship is developed by examining the similarities between the two approa...
متن کاملModel Predictive Control of Distributed Energy Resources with Predictive Set-Points for Grid-Connected Operation
This paper proposes an MPC - based (model predictive control) scheme to control active and reactive powers of DERs (distributed energy resources) in a grid - connected mode (either through a bus with its associated loads as a PCC (point of common coupling) or an MG (micro - grid)). DER may be a DG (distributed generation) or an ESS (energy storage system). In the proposed scheme, the set - poin...
متن کاملOptimization with the time-dependent Navier-Stokes equations as constraints
In this paper, optimal distributed control of the time-dependent Navier-Stokes equations is considered. The control problem involves the minimization of a measure of the distance between the velocity field and a given target velocity field. A mixed numerical method involving a quasi-Newton algorithm, a novel calculation of the gradients and an inhomogeneous Navier-Stokes solver, to find the opt...
متن کاملOnline stochastic optimization under time constraints
This paper considers online stochastic combinatorial optimization problems where uncertainties, i.e., which requests come and when, are characterized by distributions that can be sampled and where time constraints severely limit the number of offline optimizations which can be performed at decision time and/or in between decisions. It proposes online stochastic algorithms that combine the frame...
