Online News Media Analysis on Information Management of “G20 Summit” Based on Social Network Analysis

This paper contributes to the Special Issue on Communication for Digital Media Age by investigating factors that influence management of political information online news media platforms, specifically Twitter and Weibo. Using recent “G20 Summit” as a case study, this study employs mixed-methods approach incorporates both deductive inductive reasoning. Social network analysis (SNA) graph theory are used evaluate specific social relationships in context G20 summit, while combination structured content (semantic) is performed. The findings indicate individual power becoming increasingly important age media. Individuals contribute significantly diffusion may play decisive role future. also finds frequency retweets increases reciprocity ratio increases, mentions be most effective method delivering platforms.
