ONE-STEP ELECTROCHEMICAL SYNTHESIS OF PEDOT BASED COMPOSITES FOR SUPERCAPACITOR APPLICATIONS

The aim of this work was to determine the optimal synthesis conditions for preparation a poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) layer by electrochemical method from an electrolyte containing graphene oxide (GO) and sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) micellar solution. Besides SDS anion, GO is also incorporated within PEDOT as negative counter ion. Therefore, one-step PEDOT/GO composite preparation. results displayed that composites were successfully synthesised applying potential in value range 0.94 1.00 V, with duration up 600 s. It concluded concentration EDOT monomer 0.02 mol dm-3, 0.01 dm-3. incorporation into improved polymer response KCl solution influencing pseudocapacitive properties, which significant its supercapacitor applications. morphological structural properties obtained layers characterized means scanning electron microscopy ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry. determined 0.1 dm-3 using cyclic voltammetry impedance spectroscopy methods.
