چکیده
Abstract In this work, a single degree of freedom resonant converter model is proposed and theoretical studies the are carried out. The suitable for waves with height up to 2 m period 5 seconds, such as on western coast Black Sea. It shown that at resonance its power increases significantly approaches values swell. high (up m) efficiency decreases, but remains relatively constant equal about half resonance.

Single - degree - of - freedom energy stochastic excitation
In this thesis, the performance criteria for the objective comparison of different classes of single-degree-of-freedom oscillators under stochastic excitation are developed. For each family of oscillators, these objective criteria take into account the maximum possible energy harvested for a given response level, which is a quantity that is directly connected to the size of the harvesting confi...
متن کاملAn Intensity Measure for Seismic Input Energy Demand of Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Systems
Nonlinear dynamic analyses are performed to compute the maximum relative input energy per unit mass for 21 multi-degree-of-freedom systems (MDOF) with preselected target fundamental periods of vibration ranging from 0.2 to 4.0 s and 6 target inter-story ductility demands of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 subjected to 40 the earthquake ground motions. The efficiency of the several intensity measures as an ind...
متن کاملHigher Order Resonance in Two Degree of Freedom Hamiltonian System
This paper reviews higher order resonance in two degrees of freedom Hamilto-nian systems. We consider a positive semi-deenite Hamiltonian around the origin. Using normal form theory, we give an estimate of the size of the domain where interesting dynamics takes place, which is an improvement of the one previously known. Using a geometric numerical integration approach, we investigate this in th...
متن کاملCrawling scallop: friction-based locomotion with one degree of freedom.
Fluid-based locomotion at low Reynolds number is subject to the constraints of the scallop theorem, which dictate that body kinematics identical under a time-reversal symmetry (in particular, those with a single degree of freedom) cannot display locomotion on average. The implications of the theorem naturally compel one to ask whether similar symmetry constraints exist for locomotion in differe...
