On the pressure decline analysis for hydraulic fractures in elasto-plastic materials

چکیده

In this paper the problem of a plane strain hydraulic fracture in elasto-plastic material is analyzed. The analysis based on Finite Element Method computations crack propagation and closure to simulate Mini-Frac calibration test. basic trends evolution are identified for both, stage materials compared with results obtained purely elastic deformation rock. Pressure decline conducted identify stress leak-off coefficient. show that standard techniques pressure can be adopted also case where fractured deforms inelastically.
