چکیده
Abstract Background Nematodes ( Meloidogyne spp.) are a major reason behind the global crop yield reduction. The bacterial strain KMT-4 was isolated from nematode-affected tomato Solanum lycopersicum ) rhizosphere at research farms, Hisar, India, and screened for its biocontrol potential against root-knot nematode javanica as well checked effect on plant growth yield. Results bacterium identified Bacillus aryabhattai based phenotypic characters 16S rRNA sequence analysis. During in vitro studies, hatching mortality of M. were significantly affected due to antagonistic behavior exhibited by bacterium. In addition this, also displayed various direct indirect growth-promoting attributes like siderophore production, hormone (IAA) ammonia excretion, hydrogen cyanide chitinase activity. A pot house experiment conducted brinjal resulted nearly 73% reduction eggs, while 80% galls root compared untreated chemically treated plants. final population reduced treatment. It 1141.6 J2/200cc soil control 108 J2/200 cc inoculated with KMT-4. Similar results obtained field experiments cucumber years 2018 2019, respectively. Also, notable enhancement observed both trials. Conclusion possession nematicidal activity along properties B . warrants employment potent biological agent promising substitute chemical nematicides.

Meloidogyne javanica Parasitic on Peanut.
Peanut fields in four governorates of Egypt were surveyed to identify species of Meloidogyne present. Fourteen populations obtained from peanut roots were all identified as M. javanica based on perineal patterns, stylet and body lengths of second-stage juveniles, esterase phenotypes, and restriction fragment length polymorphisms of mtDNA. Three of 14 populations, all from contiguous fields in t...

Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) have different mechanisms of action in the development of plants, such as growth promotion, production of phytohormones and antibiotic substances and changes in root exudates. These help to control plant diseases. In order to evaluate the potential of microorganisms in the control of Meloidogyne javanica and Ditylenchus spp., five rhizobacteria isolat...

A mixed population of Meloidogyne arenaria race 1 and M. javanica race 3 is reported on peanut from a field in Levy County, Florida. Confirmation of M. javanica on peanut is based on esterase and malate dehydrogenase isozyme patterns resolved on polyacrylamide slab gels following electrophoresis, and perineal patterns. Up to 29% of 290 individual females collected from peanut roots in the field...

متن کاملInteraction of Meloidogyne javanica with Different Races of Meloidogyne incognita.
The interspecific interactions of Meloidogyne javanica with races 1, 2, 3, and 4 of M. incognita on tomato were determined. Impacts of the interactions on fecundity and morphometrics of females were also examined. Mutually inhibitory interactions occurred between M. javanica and the races of M. incognita, but the negative interactions did not reflect in plant growth. Numbers of root galls, egg ...
