On the Internal Enrichment Implementation for Non-Convex Paths, Discontinuities and Crack Problems

Studies on the cracked plates have shown high variations in thestress values around crack tip. On other hand, micro-cracks are observed man-made pieces. Thus, analysis of stress fields as well displacement at tip will be inevitable and very important. Mesh-free methods new techniques that do not require applying communication-based concept what is presented finite element method. The discretization problem domain done by a set ofnode points. In present study, Element-Free Galerkin (EFG) method was used to analyze problems linear elastic field bodies. Two important essential measures (steps) were for increasing accuracy results obtained from problems. first step, standard moving least squares shape function enriched capturing discontinuity, using some extra basis functions analytical solutions. next consideration applied case confronting non-convex paths discontinuities. For this purpose, diffraction generate suitable functions. Finally,the proper efficiency proposed extended EFG assessed numerical compared with theoretical results.
