ON THE CONSISTENCY AND CONVERGENCE OF CLASSICAL RICHARDSON EXTRAPOLATION AS APPLIED TO EXPLICIT ONE-STEP METHODS

چکیده
The consistency of the classical Richardson extrapolation (CRE), a simple and robust computational device, is analysed for case where underlying method an explicit one-step numerical ordinary differential equations with order one or two. It shown in framework that CRE increases by one. convergence proved assumption time-stepping operator base has Lipschitz property its second argument.

The Use of Richardson Extrapolation in One-Step Methods with Variable Step Size*
1. Introduction. One of the objections to the use of a one-step method to integrate a system of ordinary differential equations is that an estimate of the accumulated truncation error is difficult to make. If an attempt is made at appraising the truncation error, it is usually confined to an approximate evaluation of the local truncation error. A scheme for estimating the local truncation error...

on the comparison of keyword and semantic-context methods of learning new vocabulary meaning
the rationale behind the present study is that particular learning strategies produce more effective results when applied together. the present study tried to investigate the efficiency of the semantic-context strategy alone with a technique called, keyword method. to clarify the point, the current study seeked to find answer to the following question: are the keyword and semantic-context metho...
