Rigidity of In nite one-dimensional Iterated Function Systems
In MU] there has been introduced and developed the concept of innnite conformal iterated function systems. In this paper we consider 1-dimensional systems. We provide necessary and suucient conditions for such systems to be bi-Lipschitz equivalent. We extend to such systems the concept of scaling functions and we pay special attention to the real-analytic systems.
متن کاملAttractor image coding using lapped partitioned iterated function systems
The usual attractor coding technique is to partition a given image into a number of non-overlapping range blocks. Each block of the partition is expressed as the contractive transformation of another part of the image. However, the non-overlapping partitioning induces blocking artifacts which is highly disturbing to human visual system. In this work, a novel coding scheme using iterated functio...
متن کاملInfinite Iterated Function
We examine iterated function systems consisting of a countably innnite number of contracting mappings (IIFS). We state results analogous to the well-known case of nitely many mappings (IFS). Moreover, we show that IIFS can be approximated by appropriately chosen IFS both in terms of Hausdorff distance and of Hausdorff dimension. Comparing the descriptive power of IFS and IIFS as mechanisms deen...
متن کاملOn the Relation between Iterated Function Systems and Partitioned Iterated Function Systems on the Relation between Iterated Function Systems and Partitioned Iterated Function Systems on the Relation between Iterated Function Systems and Partitioned Iterated Function Systems
In this paper, we give a theoretically founded transition from Iterated Function Systems based on aane transformations to Partitioned Iterated Function Systems. We show that there are two essential steps, namely, restricting the aane transformations, and solving the evoked problem of ink dissipation. In this paper, we give a theoretically founded transition from Iterated Function Systems based ...
متن کاملThe Hutchinson–barnsley Theory for Infinite Iterated Function Systems
We show that some results of the Hutchinson–Barnsley theory for finite iterated function systems can be carried over to the infinite case. Namely, if {Fi : i ∈ N} is a family of Matkowski’s contractions on a complete metric space (X, d) such that (Fix0)i∈N is bounded for some x0 ∈ X, then there exists a non-empty bounded and separable set K which is invariant with respect to this family, that i...
