On starshaped fuzzy sets
In this paper we firstly define some new types of fuzzy starshapedness, discuss the relationships among the different types of fuzzy starshapedness, and then present some basic properties of them. Finally we develop several important results on the shadows of starshaped fuzzy sets. © 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
متن کاملFuzzy entropy on intuitionistic fuzzy sets
In this article we exploit the concept of probability for defining the fuzzy entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy sets ~IFSs!. We then propose two families of entropy measures for IFSs and also construct the axiom definition and properties. Two definitions of entropy for IFSs proposed by Burillo and Bustince in 1996 and Szmidt and Kacprzyk in 2001 are used. The first one allows us to measure the deg...
متن کاملIntuitionistic fuzzy sets or orthopair fuzzy sets?
Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFS) are defined as pairs of mutually orthogonal fuzzy sets. We discuss this approach from an algebraic point of view. As a result we characterize two implication operators on the collection of IFS, which on a particular subset of IFS behave as a Lukasiewicz and a Gödel implication.
متن کاملL-fuzzy Sets and Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
In this article we firstly summarize some notions on L−fuzzy sets, where L denotes a complete lattice. We then study a special case of L−fuzzy sets, namely the “intuitionistic fuzzy sets”. The importance of these sets comes from the fact that the negation is being defined independently from the fuzzy membership function. The latter implies both flexibility and effectiveness in fuzzy inference a...
متن کاملRough Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
In this paper we define rough intuitionistic fuzzy sets (analogous to the definition of rough fuzzy sets introduced by Dubois and Prade [8] ) and study their properties. Some propositions in this notion are proved.
