چکیده
<p>We report a continuum theory for 2D strain gradient materials accounting class of dissipation phenomena. The description is constructed by means (reversible) placement function and (irreversible) damage plastic functions. Besides, expressions elastic energies have been assumed as well the postulation hemi-variational principle. No flow rules deformation also compatible, that it can be derived function. Strain Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), boundary conditions (BCs) Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) type are hemi variational PDEs BCs govern evolution descriptor KKT variables. Numerical experiments investigated homogeneous cases do not need use Finite Element simulations performed to show applicability model. In particular, induced anisotropy response has coupling between plasticity shown.</p>

Wave propagation in elasto-plastic granular systems
Due to the nonlinear nature of the inter-particle contact, granular chains made of elastic spheres are known to transmit solitary waves under impulse loading. However, the localized contact between spherical granules leads to stress concentration, resulting in plastic behavior even for small forces. In this work, we investigate the effects of plasticity in wave propagation in elasto-plastic gra...
متن کاملA Finite Volume Formulation for the Elasto-Plastic Analysis of Rectangular Mindlin-Reissner Plates, a Non-Layered Approach
This paper extends the previous work of authors and presents a non-layered Finite Volume formulation for the elasto-plastic analysis of Mindlin-Reissner plates. The incremental algorithm of the elasto-plastic solution procedure is shown in detail. The performance of the formulation is examined by analyzing of plates with different boundary conditions and loading types. The results are illustrat...
متن کاملNonlinear elasto-plastic model for dense granular flow
This work proposes a model for granular deformation that predicts the stress and velocity profiles in well-developed dense granular flows. Recent models for granular elasticity (Jiang and Liu 2003) and rate-sensitive plastic flow (Jop et al. 2006) are combined into one universal granular continuum law, capable of predicting flowing regions and stagnant zones simultaneously in any arbitrary 3D f...

−βθ div ut , has been derived and existence of global strong solutions in 3D for the isothermal case has been proved in [1]. Existence for the full system under suitable hypotheses is proved in [2]. The unknowns are u (displacement of the solid matrix), p (capillary pressure), and θ (absolute temperature). The system contains four hysteresis operators: The degenerate Preisach operator G describ...
متن کاملModeling and Simulation of Elasto-Plastic Multibody Systems with Damage
Flexible multibody systems are studied where plasticity is induced by inertial forces. Such a situation may occur when the stiffness of a structure is weakened by an operation under catastrophic environmental conditions. To analyze this phenomenon, plane motions of beam elements with large rigid body motion and moderately large deformation are considered. The equations of motions for the proble...
