Omani EFL Learners` Vocabulary Learning Strategies

The knowledge of vocabulary can be considered the main factor understanding context in learning a foreign or second language process. This seen clearly international exams such as TOEFL (Test English Foreign Language) and IELTS (International Language Testing Sysytem). research aims to analyze strategies 42 Omani EFL learners measure effect gender strategy selection among them. To collect information, questionnaire regarding VLS (Vocabulary Learning Strategy) was distributed college learners, paper results revealed insignificant relation between with strategies. Determination strategies, all other received highest ranking users, while social were at bottom list. colleges universities are using medium instruction, so current study help syllabus designers teachers deal psycholinguistic level books, materials, teaching methods, appropriately. gain more comprehensive map over Oman, it suggested that network researchers try distribute through some random sampling, beneficial for future analysis psycholinguistics education Oman.
