چکیده
A new nanophotocatalysts series of M2Zr2O7 (M = Mn, Cu, and Fe) doped Fe2Zr2O7 systems were prepared via sol-gel using the pechini method, characterized, tested in photocatalytic degradation olive mill wastewater (OMW). The materials was evaluated by measuring total phenolic compounds (TPCs) Folin-Ciocalteu method for variable pH under a commercial LED lamp (45 W). removal TPCs measured at different contact times ranging from 2 h to 6 days. X-ray diffraction (XRD) transmission electron microscope (TEM) analysis approved nano size (5–17 nm) quasi-spherical morphology materials. ICP-OES confirmed XRD structure Aggregation nanomaterials observed TEM imaging. Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) 67 m2/g surface area Fe2Zr2O7. Doping Fe with Mn increased 173 187 further increase dopant. Increasing dopant concentration both degradation. highest Mn2Zr2O7 around 70% 10 exposure time up one day.

Photochemical UV/TiO2 treatment of olive mill wastewater (OMW).
Olive mill wastewater (OMW) was treated by photocatalysis using TiO2 under UV irradiation on the laboratory scale. The chemical oxygen demand, the coloration at 330nm, and the level of phenols all showed decreases which, after a 24-h treatment, reached 22%, 57% and 94%, respectively. The differences between these three values indicate the persistence of colourless, non-phenolic compounds. Appli...
متن کامل13C NMR study of the effect of aerobic treatment of olive mill wastewater (OMW) on its lipid-free content.
Olive mill wastewater was treated by an aerobic bio-process at different values of pH (with or without addition of lime), for 45 days on a laboratory scale, to evaluate the reduction of the organic load. The lipid content showed an appreciable change in relation to the applied treatment both for total lipids and for the different fractions (neutral lipids, monoglycerides and phospholipids). 13C...
متن کاملEfficiency of Fenton Process in Olive Oil Mill Wastewater Treatment
Background and purpose: Wastewater olive processing industries have significant amounts of organic compounds resistant to biodegradation which are hazardous if not treated and discharged to the environment. Advanced oxidation processes such as Fenton process have been considered to increase and improve the biological degradability of this type of wastewater. Current study aimed at investigating...
متن کاملBiological treatment of olive mill wastewater by non-conventional yeasts.
The ability of lipolytic yeasts to grow on olive mill wastewater (OMW)-based medium and to produce high-value compounds while degrading this waste, was tested. OMW collected from three-phase olive mills from the North region of Portugal were characterized and used. OMW with COD ranging from 100 g L(-1) to 200 g L(-1) were supplemented with yeast extract and ammonium chloride. Studies of OMW con...
متن کاملLipase production by Aspergillus ibericus using olive mill wastewater.
Olive mill wastewater (OMW) characteristics make it a suitable resource to be used as a microbial culture media to produce value-added compounds, such as enzymes. In this work, the ability of the novel species Aspergillus ibericus to discolor OMW and produce lipase was studied. An initial screening on plates containing an OMW-based agar medium and an emulsified olive oil/rhodamine-B agar medium...
