چکیده
Abstract This study aims to determine differences in oleoresin production and the type content of turpentine P. oocarpa merkusii. The first stage research activity was collect obtained from 15 plants each pine aged 14 years which were determined randomly. Determination phytochemicals, especially using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry by injecting gas-phase chemical isolates. tapping data analyzed paired t-test with a test level 5% difference amount oleoresin. results showed that there no capacity (p<0.05) between two stands an average per tree 0.0127±0.002 g.d -1 ( ) 0.0183±0.003 merkusii ). most important species consisted of: α-pinene (5.2%), ß-pinene (5.8%), delta 3 carena (13.8%); while are (8.2%), (11.5%), limonene α-terpinolene (32.7%), benzenemethanol (4.3%), trans-pinocarveol (3.5%). All compounds produced types can be used for various pharmaceutical, cosmetic, pesticide industries.

Fractionation with n-hexane/ethyl acetate (1:1 v/v) by open column chromatography of the oleoresin from Pinus oocarpa Schiede yielded two diterpenes, pimaric acid (1) and dehydroabietic acid (5), the sesquiterpene longifolene (3) and a diterpenic mixture containing pimaric acid (1), isopimaric acid (4) and dehydroabietic acid (5). Subsequently, the isolated compounds, the mixture of 1, 4 and 5,...
متن کاملInitiation of somatic embryogenesis from immature zygotic embryos of oocarpa pine (Pinus oocarpa Schiede ex Schlectendal).
The focus of the current project was to establish somatic embryogenesis protocols for the tropical pine species Pinus oocarpa using immature zygotic embryos (ZEs) as explants. Somatic embryogenesis is best supported by mimicking natural seed-embryo developmental conditions, through a tissue culture medium formulation based on the mineral content of the seed nutritive tissue [megagametophyte (MG...
متن کاملIntrogression between Pinus taeda L. and Pinus echinata Mill
Loblolly pine (Pinus taeda L.) and shortleaf pine (Pinus echinata Mill.) have widely overlapping geographic ranges. Hybridization between the two species has interested tree breeders for a long time. Morphologically, the two pine species are different. The needles of loblolly pine are 6 to 9 inches long, usually with three yellow-green needles per fascicle; but shortleaf pine needles are 3 to 5...
متن کاملOleoresin yield and carbon stocks in tapped subtropical Pinus elliottii forests
Background Low-cost methods to mitigate the increasing levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and their implications on global climate change have received considerable attention in the last years [1,2]. Afforestation is an important alternative to reduce the rise in atmospheric CO2 concentration due to the system’s ability to fix carbon in forest biomass and soil [3]. Several studies have ...
متن کاملA Comparative Study on Turpentine Oils of Oleoresins of Pinus sylvestris L. from Three Districts of Denizli
Oleoresin samples collected from Pinus sylvestris L. trees from Acıpayam, Çal and Çamlıbel, three different locations in Denizli-Turkey. The constituents of the turpentine oil, obtained by hydrodistillation of oleoresin of Pinus sylvestris L., were identified by GC-MS. Fifty four constituents were detected from the turpentine oil, which constituted about between 96.2% and 98.2% of the total amo...
