به‌‌منظور مطالعه‌ی دشمنان طبیعی شپشک آردآلود توت Pseudococcus comstocki (Kuwana) (Hem.: Pseudococcidae)، نمونه‌برداری‌هایی در شهرستان تبریز (استان آذربایجان شرقی) انجام گرفت. در این تحقیق یک گونه زنبور پارازیتویید از خانواده‌ی Encyrtidae جمع‌آوری و تحت عنوان Anagyrus novickyi (Hoffer) شناسایی گردید. این گونه برای نخستین‌بار از ایران گزارش می‌شود.
