OC-077 ONE STOP MULTI-SPECIALTY CHRONIC POSTOPERATIVE INGUINAL PAIN CLINIC - IMPLEMENTATION OUTCOMES

Abstract Aim/Objective The aim on this presentation is to assess patients’ feedback as well the outcomes of individualised treatment plans for patients assessed in multidisciplinary team (MDT) clinic. primary endpoint was quality life and pain improvement 3 months after receiving treatment. Material methods All reviewed MDT CPIP clinic Comprehensive Hernia Centre between July 2021 2022 were included study. Patients assessed. outcomes, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) modified Activity Assessment (mAAS) post intervention have been audited against data collected prior intervention. Results We received 57 referrals during investigated period. 40 underwent assessment with 55% entering follow-up stage. In that group 26% had surgery, 35% invasive non-surgical (local injections radiofrequency ablation), 39% qualified pharmacological treatment, together physiotherapy psychological support. Follow up 19/22 patients. reported moderate significant (VAS 4–10) initial a reduction (> 50% VAS) Mean baseline mAAS score 20.3± 7.3 (range 8 40). change - 10.6±2.6 all reporting 50%). Moreover, scale from 0 5, average satisfaction 4.5. Conclusion Developing presenting improved experiences outcomes. Enhancing patient-centred care.
