OBESITY IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: PRE- AND PERINATAL RISKS

The aim of the study was to pre- and perinatal risk factors for development overweight/obesity in population children aged 7 17 years.A case-control conducted which 210 students participated. case group included 84 with a verified diagnosis overweight/obesity, control - 126 healthy normal weight. results revealed following statistically significant overweight/obesity: Short-lived (P-0.037) large families (P-0.000), low education mothers (P-0.035), eating disorders during pregnancy (P-0.009), gestational (P<0.035), cesarean section (P<0.017) artificial feeding (P-0,024).Knowledge is important achieve targeted prevention children.
