Nutritional Status of Patients on Maintenance Hemodialysis as Assessed by Mini Nutritional Assessment Survey- Short Form and Anthropometric Measurements.

Protein calorie malnutrition is common in chronic kidney disease patients especially on maintenance hemodialysis (MHD). Multiple factors including mainly frequency and adequacy of dialysis dietary habits may result besides other comorbidities. Different tools have been designed to analyze the nutritional status subjective global assessment, inflammation score, Mini Nutritional Assessment– Short Form (MNA-SF) several others. We assessed our MHD using Assessment–Short (MNASF)
 Methods
 Total 44 aged between 13 64 years, undergoing for at least 6 months were included study.
 Results
 Out 63% malnourished, 34% risk 3% having normal according MNA-SF. The mean mid-arm circumference was low even presence albumin BMI within range.
