چکیده
This experiment was conducted during autumn growing season of 2016-2017 under unheated greenhouse environment at the field station college Agriculture-University Tikrit to study effect seaweed, and organic extracts spraying on growth yield tomato's (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill) three hybrids. The following nutrients were used; Alga600, Seaweed, Max in addition control treatment. hybrids were; Rakan, Bushra, Sadouf. designed using split plot design with two factors. results showed that nutrient Alga600 significantly dominated fruit average weight (146.00 gm. each fruit-1, individual plant as it recorded for 2.33 kg. plant-1, number fruits (16.59 fruits. experimental unit (46.67 kg), total (3981.33 greenhouse-1), texture toughness fruits, pH 4.88 concentration 6.14 cm2 respectively. While Seaweed affected peel thickness 1.00 mm diameter 6.67 cm. fruit-1. hybrids, noticed hybrid Rakan thickness, (0.86 mm) (6.19 cm2). characteristics including (2.05 (41.00 green house (3.526 tones. house), per (14.69 plant-1), (137.67 gm). Sadouf pH, which 4.46.

The Inheritance of Self-Incompatibility in Hybrids of Lycopersicon Esculentum Mill. x L. Chilense Dun.
OTH self-fertile and self-incompatible species are found in the genus BLycopersicon (LAMM 1950). The self-incompatibility in L. peruuianum was shown to be of the Nicotiana or multiple-allelic gametophytic type by MCGUIRE and RICK (1954). Less extensive evidence suggested similar genetic control in L. hirsutum, L. glandulosum, and L. chilense (L. peruvianum f . dentatum) . I n addition, the inhe...
متن کاملIn vitro flowering and fruiting in tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.)
In vitro flowering and fruiting were induced in plants regenerated from calli of leaf explants of Lycopersicon esculentum var. Pant 11. MS medium supplemented with 2 mg/l BAP displayed the best response followed by MS with 2 mg/l BAP, 1 mg/ l ABA and 0.5 mg/l IAA. Flower buds were developed both directly from callus and regenerated plantlets from leaf explants under 16 h (39.3 μmol m-2s-1) phot...
متن کاملEffect of Genotype and Explant Type on in Vitro Shoot Regeneration of Tomato (lycopersicon Esculentum Mill.)
In order to select the best tomato cultivar for Agrobacterium mediated gene transformation studies, In vitro regeneration frequency of hypocotyls, leaf disc and shoot tip of five tomato cultivars (Lycopersicon esculentum) was investigated on a regeneration medium supplemented with 1 mg/l zeatin and 0.1 mg/l indole-3-acetic acid. Significant differences in regeneration capacity between genotypes...
متن کاملMeiosis in sesquidiploid hybrids of Lycopersicon esculentum and Solanum lycopersicoides.
We have synthesized diploid hybrids between Lycopersicon esculentum and Solanum lycopersicoides and have converted them to allotetraploids. Two sesquidiploids, having two complements of the former parent and one of the latter, have been obtained by backcrossing the former parent with the alloploid. In meiosis of the sesquidiploid the L. esculentum chromosomes exhibit strong preferential pairing...
متن کاملEffect of High Temperature and Heat Shock on Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) Genotypes under Controlled Conditions
Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum MILL.) is usually produced during the winter period in Sudan. In summer due to high temperatures, monthly average temperatures are between 31 to 35°C, a shortage of tomatoes is common. General environmental changes, especially global warming, may have an adverse effect on crop production in Sudan. The objective of this study is (i) to investigate the effect of he...
