The nutrient concentration of most crops depends on factors such as amount water, growing environment, sunlight, and soil types. However, the influencing African horned cucumber fruit are not yet known. objective study was to determine effect different water stress levels, types, environments fruit. Freeze-dried samples were used in quantification β-carotene total soluble sugars. results demonstrated that plants grown under shade net, combined with severe level loamy soil, had increased sugars (from 8 16 °Brix). Under shade-net combination moderate resulted crude protein content 6.22 6.34% In addition, treatment greenhouse conditions, 1.5 1.7 mg 100 g−1 DW). showed fruits nutrient-dense when or sandy loam substrate open-field environments.
