Nurturing Innovative Work Behaviour through Workplace Learning among Knowledge Workers of Small and Medium Businesses

Abstract Organisations need to be innovative able face the complexity and turbulence of environmental forces factors surrounding them. This is true in case all types organisations, including SMEs, where innovations are essential for their survival growth. As such, organisations nurture Innovative Work Behaviour (IWB) among employees through different means. To achieve such ultimate goal, Workplaces Employees Learning can benefit many companies. Meanwhile, Workplace (WPL) improve competencies skills help IWB. research focuses on role WPL as a predictor IWB knowledge workers SMEs developing countries (i.e. Pakistan). Through convenient sampling technique, questionnaires were distributed 173 resulting 311 useable questionnaires. Data analysed using Smart-PLS 3. The results indicated that facilitated SME employees, with informal incidental learning being most critical predictors compared formal means learning. reinforce importance IWB, implications beneficial academic society.
