Numerical Simulation of the Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics of Sweeping and Direct Jets on a Flat Plate with Film Holes

The internal heat transfer performance and flow structures of a sweeping jet film composite cooling on flat plate were numerically studied. Sweeping consists fluidic oscillator 20 cylindrical holes; the direct is formed by removing feedback from oscillator, which different traditional nozzle. Four mass rates coolant considered, inclination angle hole was 30°. Conjugate Heat Transfer method (CHT) Unsteady Reynolds Averaged Navier Stokes equation (URANS) employed. results indicated that resistance coefficients larger than those jet, Nusselt number monotonously increased with increase in rate. Compared to had more spatially uniform removal rate, area-averaged slightly lower. Therefore, caused distribution be uniform. It worth noting novel nozzle present work considerable impingement effectiveness.
