Abstract The finite element model is established based on the bench test of landmine blast protection package. effect air gap between package and base plate as well stiffness deformation are investigated. Aluminum sandwich packages designed effects suppression studied using model. results show that not conducive to plate. Increasing benefit plate, however, it necessary consider influence corresponding increase in thickness possible deformation. scheme, composed one piece 2024-T3 aluminum two pieces 7mm armored steel, best solution among six schemes.
