چکیده
In this paper, we study the semidiscrete approximation of solution a nonlinear diffusion equation with source and singular boundary flux. We find some conditions under which form quenches in finite time estimate its quenching time. also establish convergence to theoretical one when mesh size tends zero. Finally, give numerical experiments for best illustration our analysis.

Finite time quenching for a nonlinear diffusion equation with singular boundary flux
In this paper, we study the finite time quenching phenomenon of a nonlinear diffusion equation with nonlinear source and singular boundary flux. It is shown that the solution must quench in a finite time and the time derivative blows up at a quenching point. The quenching set and rate are determined.
متن کاملThe quenching behavior of a nonlinear parabolic equation with a singular boundary condition
In this paper, we study the quenching behavior of solution of a nonlinear parabolic equation with a singular boundary condition. We prove finite-time quenching for the solution. Further, we show that quenching occurs on the boundary under certain conditions. Furthermore, we show that the time derivative blows up at quenching point. Also, we get a lower solution and an upper bound for quenching ...
متن کاملThe Singular Diffusion Equation with Boundary Degeneracy
Abstract: For the heat conduction on a bounded domain with boundary degeneracy, though its diffusion coefficient vanishes on the boundary, it is still possible that the heat flux may transfer across the boundary. A known result shows that the key role is the ratio of the diffusion coefficient near the boundary. If this ratio is large enough, the heat flux transference has not any relation to th...
متن کاملNumerical Approximation of Singular Boundary Value Problems for a Nonlinear Differential Equation
In this work we are concerned about singular boundary value problems for certain nonlinear second order ordinary differential equations on finite and infinite domains. An asymptotic expansion is obtained for the family of solutions satisfying the boundary condition at the origin. In the case of infinite domains, the asymptotic behavior of the solutions is also analysed for large values of the i...

and Applied Analysis 3 Next, we deal with the quenching rate. Before we establish upper bounds for the quenching rate, we introduce the following hypothesis: H1 ψ ′′ u g u ≥ 2 p − 1 ψ ′ u g ′ u , ψ ′ u p − 2 g ′2 u g u g ′′ u ≥ ψ ′′ u g u g ′ u . Theorem 1.2. Suppose that the conditions of Theorem 1.1 and the hypothesis H1 hold. Then there exists a positive constant C1 such that ∫u 1,t 0 ψ ′ s ...
