چکیده
This study numerically investigates the effects of diluent gas proportion, overdrive factor, and throat width on wave structure thrust performance a ram accelerator operating in super-detonative mode. For premixed high energy density, typical unstart oblique detonation system is observed due to ignition front wedge projectile, waves move downstream shoulder as density decreases. In start range position also shows tendency projectile velocity increases, accompanied by oscillations surface thrust. As standing changes non-monotonously, with an interval upstream movement Mach reflection. The mode identified, well stable features unstable process for choking, which can provide theoretical guidance avoiding issues accelerators optimizing their performance.

Numerical predictions of oblique detonation stability boundaries
Oblique detonation stability was studied by numerically integrating the two-dimensional. one-step reactive Euler equations in a generalized, curvilinear coordinate system. The integration was accomplished using the Roe scheme combined with fractional stepping; nonlinear flux limiting was used to prevent unphysical solution oscillations near discontinuities. The method was verified on oneand two...
متن کاملAnalysis for Steady Propagation of a Generic Ram Accelerator / Oblique Detonation Wave Engine Configuration
This study describes a methodology and gives analyses to determine the steady propagation speed of a projectile fired into a gaseous mixture of fuel and oxidizer. For tractability, the steady supersonic flow of an inviscid calorically perfect ideal reacting gas with high activation energy over a symmetric double wedge, unconfined by a cowl, is considered. Propagation speeds are found which give...

Efficient Numerical Stability Analysis of Detonation Waves in Znd
As described in the classic works of Lee–Stewart and Short–Stewart, the numerical evaluation of linear stability of planar detonation waves is a computationally intensive problem of considerable interest in applications. Reexamining this problem from a modern numerical Evans function point of view, we derive a new algorithm for their stability analysis, related to a much older method of Erpenbe...
