چکیده

We extend a recently developed numerical code to obtain stationary, axisymmetric solutions that describe rotating black hole spacetimes in wide class of modified theories gravity. The utilizes relaxed Newton-Raphson method solve the full nonlinear Einstein's equations on two-dimensional grid with Newton polynomial finite difference scheme. validate this by considering static and holes general relativity. scalar--Gauss-Bonnet gravity linear (linear scalar--Gauss-Bonnet) an exponential (Einstein-dilaton--Gauss-Bonnet) coupling compare them analytical perturbative solutions. From these solutions, we construct fitted model study observable properties calculated from results.

Static Black Hole Solutions with Axial Symmetry

We construct a new class of asymptotically flat black hole solutions in EinsteinYang-Mills and Einstein-Yang-Mills-dilaton theory. These black hole solutions are static, and they have a regular event horizon. However, they possess only axial symmetry. Like their regular counterparts, the black hole solutions are characterized by two integers, the winding number n and the node number k of the ga...

Higher order gravity theories and their black hole solutions

In these lectures notes, we will discuss a particular higher order gravity theory, Lovelock theory, that generalises in higher dimensions than 4, general relativity. After briefly motivating modifications of gravity, we will introduce the theory in question and we will argue that it is a unique, mathematically sensible, and physically interesting extension of general relativity. We will see, by...

Applicability of the Newman-Janis Algorithm to Black Hole Solutions of Modified Gravity Theories

The Newman-Janis algorithm has been widely used to construct rotating black hole solutions from non-rotating counterparts. While this algorithm was developed within General Relativity, it has more recently been applied to non-rotating solutions in modified gravity theories. We find that the application of the Newman-Janis algorithm to an arbitrary non-GR spherically-symmetric solution introduce...

Black hole solutions in massive gravity

The static vacuum spherically symmetric solutions in massive gravity are obtained both analytically and numerically. The solutions depend on two parameters (integration constants): the mass M (or, equivalently, the Schwarzschild radius), and an additional parameter, the “scalar charge” S. At zero value of S and positive mass the standard Schwarzschild black hole solutions are recovered. Dependi...

Static black hole solutions without rotational symmetry.

We construct static black hole solutions that have no rotational symmetry. These arise in theories, including the standard electroweak model, that include charged vector mesons with mass m 6= 0. In such theories, a magnetically charged Reissner-Nordström black hole with horizon radius less than a critical value of the order of m−1 is classically unstable against the development of a nonzero vec...
