چکیده

We review the solution of QCD in two spacetime dimensions. Following analysis Baluni, for a single flavor, model can be analyzed using Abelian bosonization. The theory strong coupling, when quarks are much lighter than gauge coupling. In this limit, is given by Luttinger liquid.

Introducing Stable Real Non-Topological Solitary Wave Solutions in 1+1 Dimensions

By adding a proper term to the Lagrangian density of a real non-linear KG system with a proposed non-topological unstable solitary wave solution, its stability guaranteed appreciably. This additional term in the new modified Lagrangian density behaves like a strong internal force which stands against any arbitrary small deformation in the proposed non-topological solitary wave solution.

Anyons in 1 + 1 Dimensions

The possibility of excitations with fractional spin and statististics in 1+1 dimensions is explored. The configuration space of a two-particle system is the half-line. This makes the Hamiltonian self-adjoint for a family of boundary conditions parametrized by one real number γ. The limit γ → 0, (∞) reproduces the propagator of non-relativistic particles whose wavefunctions are even (odd) under ...

Soliton-like Solutions of the Complex Non-linear Klein-Gordon Systems in 1 + 1 Dimensions

In this paper, we present soliton-like solutions of the non-linear complex Klein-Gordon systems in 1+1 dimensions. We will use polar representation to introduce three different soliton-like solutions including, complex kinks (anti-kinks), radiative profiles, and localized wave-packets. Complex kinks (anti-kinks) are topological objects with zero electrical charges. Radiative profiles are object...

v 1 1 3 A ug 1 99 6 A new effective Lagrangian for nuclear matter

The relativistic mean field model, the Zimányi Moszkowski (ZM) Lagrangian describes nuclear matter and stable finite nuclei even in the non-relativistic limit. It fails, however, to predict the correct non-relativistic spin-orbit (SO) coupling. In this paper we improve on this matter by an additional tensor coupling analogous to the anomalous gyromagnetic ratio. It can be adjusted to describe t...

Dewetting hydrodynamics in 1+1 dimensions.

A model for the phase transition between partial wetting and dewetting of a substrate has been formulated that explicitly incorporates the hydrodynamic flow during the dewetting process in 1+1 dimensions. The model simulates a fluid layer of finite thickness on a substrate in coexistence with a dry part of the substrate and a gas phase above the substrate. Under nonequilibrium "dewetting" condi...
