چکیده
Nuclear matrix elements (NMEs) for neutrinoless double beta decays (DBDs) are required studying neutrino physics beyond the standard model by DBD. The experimental spin-dipole (SD) giant resonance energy and SD strength shown first time to be closely related DBD-NME, used spin-isospin correlation quenching of axial-vector coupling. So they help theoretical calculation DBD-NME.

Neutrinoless Double Β-decay:the Problem of Nuclear Matrix Elements
The calculations of nuclear matrix elements of 0νββ-decay is a challenge for nuclear physics. We are discussing here a model independent method, which could allow to test the calculations. The method is based on the factorization property of the nuclear matrix elements and requires observation of neutrinoless double β-decay of several nuclei.
متن کاملDisassembling the nuclear matrix elements of the neutrinoless ββ decay
In this article we analyze the nuclear matrix elements (NME) of the neutrinoless double beta decays (0νββ) of the nuclei 48Ca, 76Ge, 82Se, 124Sn, 128Te, 130Te and 136Xe in the framework of the interacting shell model (ISM). We study the relative value of the different contributions to the NME’s, such as higher order terms in the nuclear current, finite nuclear size effects and short range corre...
متن کاملPygmy and Giant Dipole Resonances in Sn
We report on first results from dipole-strength measurements in the region of unstable nuclei around Sn; experimental details were presented earlier [1]. In brief, such studies are motivated by theoretical predictions of multipole distributions in exotic nuclei differing much from that observed in stable nuclei; aditional strength near the neutron separation threshold, moreover, may have conseq...
متن کاملDamping Rates of Hot Giant Dipole Resonances
The damping rate of hot giant dipole resonances (GDR) is investigated. Besides Landau damping we consider collisions and density fluctuations as contributions to the damping of GDR. Within the nonequilibrium Green’s function method we derive a non-Markovian kinetic equation. The linearization of the latter one leads to complex dispersion relations. The complex solution provides the centroid ene...
متن کاملCoulomb Excitation of Double Giant Dipole Resonances
We implement the Brink–Axel hypothesis for the excitation of the double giant dipole resonance (DGDR): The background states which couple to the one–phonon giant dipole resonance are themselves capable of dipole absorption. These states (and the ones which couple to the two–phonon resonance) are described in terms of the Gaussian Orthogonal Ensemble of random matrices. We use second–order time–...
