Novel Use of Wound Matrix in Mastopexy Complicated by Pyoderma Gangrenosum

Abstract Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is a relatively uncommon inflammatory skin disorder which characterized by rapid onset, ulcerative lesions, and often triggered trauma or surgery. Although rare, PG of the breast has been well described in Plastic Surgery literature, most reported following reductions reconstructions. The authors present case developed 56-year-old patient, with history essential thrombocytosis, mastopexy. Her significant full thickness loss was successfully treated steroids then reconstructed via serial applications porcine placental extracellular matrix grafts. wounds were completely healed 3.5 months for left, 5 right breast.
