Novel Sorghum Herbicides for Grass Control in Fallow

This study was conducted to compare herbicides for use in herbicide-tolerant grain sorghum grass control fallow. Imazamox applied preemergence (PRE) generally the most effective herbicide regardless of weed species or evaluation date. Postemergence (POST) treatments did not green foxtail more than 78% late season. Imazamox, Assure II (quizalofop), and Accent (nicosulfuron) PRE early POST controlled shattercane crabgrass 90% also 93 95% year.
