Novel research on polyamide 11 nanocomposites reinforced by Titania nanoparticle deposited jute fibres

چکیده

The combination of jute fibres and polyamide 11 (PA11) to produce full biocomposites is expectance scientists due many benefits both these materials such as high mechanical performances environmentally friendly behaviors. Unfortunately, there scarce published research on bicomposites uptil now. In order improve the interfacial interaction adhesion between PA11 resin matrix, an important key in fabrication composites. this study, a alkaline treatment Tetraisopropyl orthotitanate (Tip) modification was employed modify surface fibres. deposition or grafting TiO2 nanoparticles proved by using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observations energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS/EDX) analysis. improvement modified well (mechanical properties, thermal oxidative water absorption stability) obtained were also clarified.
