Not Only A Man’s World: Women Also Cross Borders

The migrants from Niger Republic move into the neighboring Nigerian communities in numbers search for greener pastures. Some married, some widowed, good number divorced rest spinsters. None them had formal education but basic Islamic knowledge. They engaged farming, post harvest activities, domestic chores such cleaning, cooking babysitting others street begging. Findings reveal that economic gains major reason coming For respondents, this is first time partaking migration, have joy returning yearly thereby circular migrants.
