Normalized Difference Vegetation Index Analysis Using Ndvi and Savi Indices in the Conservation Unit Serra da Borborema Municipal Nature Park, Campina Grande, Paraíba, Brazil

The nature conservation units (UC) are specially protected territorial spaces (ETEP), with creation, implementation and management provided for by Law 9985/2000, which established the National System of Conservation Units (SNUC). Over 28% Brazilian territory is set aside conservation, in a universe over 2,300 Units. Paraiba, Northeast region, has 15 (fifteen) Protected Units, representing less than 1% its territory, Municipal Natural Park Serra da Borborema, classified as Full Protection UC, located eastern part city Campina Grande, at coordinates Lat. (S) 07º23'250" Log. (W) 35º84'331", only local UC. Objective: to analyze vegetation cover through the: Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) Soil Adjusted (SAVI), period from June September 2020. Theoretical Frame: It was used citations authors, respecting quadrennium 2019 2022, being main ones listed here: Ministry Environment, WWF, IUCN, IBAMA and, Felix-Trigueiro & Fontgalland, favoring understanding concepts related area environmental Poeta's Grande -Brazil, studies Ponzoni et al. weighting derivations sensorial vegetation. Method: two forms index analysis were proposed: data geoprocessed images LandSat8 satellite, US Geological Survey - USGS, using Qgis 3.10 software. Results Conclusions: despite difference representation minimum maximum values between indices evaluated thematic maps, result, NDVI SAVI close 1, so that it can be inferred biophysical resource "vegetation cover" locality, allow maintenance ecosystem services available anthropic pressure suffered site.
