Nonlocal adhesion models for two cancer cell phenotypes in a multidimensional bounded domain

چکیده
Cell-cell adhesion is an inherently nonlocal phenomenon. Numerous partial differential equation models with term have been recently presented to describe this phenomenon, yet the mathematical properties of model are not well understood. Here we consider a two kinds cell-cell adhesion, satisfying no-flux conditions in multidimensional bounded domain. We show global-in-time well-posedness solution and obtain uniform boundedness solution.

Dynamic Switch Between Two Adhesion Phenotypes in Colorectal Cancer Cells
The hematogenous metastatic cascade is mediated by the interaction of cancer cells and the endothelial cell lining of blood vessels. In this work, we examine the colon cancer cell line COLO 205, which grows simultaneously in both adherent and suspended states in culture and can serve as a good model for studying tumor heterogeneity. The two subpopulations of cells have different molecular chara...

15 صفحه اولEXISTENCE OF A STEADY FLOW WITH A BOUNDED VORTEX IN AN UNBOUNDED DOMAIN
We prove the existence of steady 2-dimensional flows, containing a bounded vortex, and approaching a uniform flow at infinity. The data prescribed is the rearrangement class of the vorticity field. The corresponding stream function satisfies a semilinear elliptic partial differential equation. The result is proved by maximizing the kinetic energy over all flows whose vorticity fields are rearra...

We consider three-dimensional sinusoidal frequency model in a random field. Three-dimensional frequency model has wide applications in statistical signal processing. In this article, we mainly consider the usual least squares estimators and the estimators that can be obtained by maximizing the periodogram function. We obtain consistency and asymptotic normality property of both the estimators. ...
متن کاملRab11 is required for maintenance of cell shape via βPS integrin mediated cell adhesion in Drosophila
In eukaryotes, vesicle trafficking is regulated by the small monomeric GTPases of the Rab protein family. Rab11, (a subfamily of the Ypt/Rab gene family) an evolutionarily conserved, ubiquitously expressed subfamily of small monomeric Rab GTPases, has been implicated in regulating vesicular trafficking through the recycling of endosomal compartment. In an earlier communication, we have shown th...
