Scattering of waves, e.g., light, due to medium inhomogeneity is ubiquitous in physics and considered detrimental for many applications. Wavefront shaping technology a powerful tool defeat scattering focus light through inhomogeneous media, which vital optical imaging, communication, therapy, etc. based on the matrix (SM) extremely useful handling dynamic processes linear regime. However, implementation such method controlling nonlinear media still challenge has been unexplored until now. We report determine SM with second-order nonlinearity. experimentally demonstrate its feasibility wavefront control realize focusing signals strongly quadratic media. Moreover, we show that statistical properties this follow random theory. The scattering-matrix approach opens path toward signal recovery, microscopic object tracking, complex environment quantum information processing.
