Nonlinear acoustic effects in polycrystalline solids with saturation of amplitude-dependent internal friction

Theoretical and numerical studies of nonlinear acoustic effects arising from the propagation initially harmonic waves in polycrystalline solids with saturation amplitude-dependent internal friction have been carried out. Two main types hysteresis are considered: elastic inelastic. A comparative analysis regularities is out characteristics quasi-harmonic such media determined: losses changes velocity, as well amplitudes higher harmonics. method for determining type polycrystal based on theoretical experimentally established amplitude dependences proposed.
