Time-resolved multidimensional NMR with non-uniform sampling
Time-resolved experiments demand high resolution both in spectral dimensions and in time of the studied kinetic process. The latter requirement traditionally prohibits applications of the multidimensional experiments, which, although capable of providing invaluable information about structure and dynamics and almost unlimited spectral resolution, require too lengthy data collection. Our work sh...
متن کاملNon-uniform Spatial Sampling
We investigate in this paper the non-uniform sampling of EEG dipolar potentials and its impact on source analysis. We suppose some a priori knowledge on the approximate location of the dipole. We show that, in a noise-free situation, the electrode spacing needs to be around 3cm in the region of the dipole only, whereas it can drop to 8cm in remote regions.
متن کاملadaptive non‑uniform rate sampling and application in data compression
in this paper the author considers a general method, based on time domain samples for spectral manipulation of time limited signals. first, the original signal is divided into some frames in the time domain. then, by presenting a suitable theoretical and computational algorithm, and using a method for improving the speed of convergence, we find the local bandwidth of each frame; thereby, each f...
متن کاملDeterministic schedules for robust and reproducible non-uniform sampling in multidimensional NMR.
We show that a simple, general, and easily reproducible method for generating non-uniform sampling (NUS) schedules preserves the benefits of random sampling, including inherently reduced sampling artifacts, while removing the pitfalls associated with choosing an arbitrary seed. Sampling schedules are generated from a discrete cumulative distribution function (CDF) that closely fits the continuo...
متن کاملNon-uniform Sampling in Shift-invariant Spaces
This article discusses modern techniques for non-uniform sampling and reconstruction of functions in shift-invariant spaces. The reconstruction of a function or signal or image f from its non-uniform samples f(xj) is a common task in many applications in data or signal or image processing. The non-uniformity of the sampling set is often a fact of life and prevents the use of the standard method...
